Saint 9mm Upper & Lower Vice ??

Wanting to work on the upper & lower on my new St Vic 9mm.. Can't find a Vice type clamp, many for AR platform but what I hear is the 9mm barrel does not have the Lugs ? for a Lock Block Rod or Retention Rod will not work ? and to the vices for AR won't fit with out modifying or grinding some material out.. want to remove flash hider to install suppressor. thanks in advance.. mcm

@mc m26815 Hey man, good to see you here and congrats on the new St Vic 9mm. For the vice setup, you’re basically right. The SAINT 9mm uppers don’t use the same lug/lock-block setup as a typical AR, so standard AR vice blocks won’t hold it right without a shim or grind.

I usually recommend grabbing a dedicated Springfield SAINT 9mm upper/lower vise block set from Brownells or Primary Arms so you don’t bugger up the rail.
